Yuanda Australia’s unique expertise on display again at Melbourne Square

Wrapped around the oval shaped Towers 2 and 3 of the planned Melbourne Square precinct, Yuanda Australia’s unique expertise is on display once again.

Situated at 93-119 Kavanagh Street, Southbank, the $2.8 billion project will proudly display Yuanda’s beautifully designed façade.

Yuanda Australia Director ZhiJun Liu said the company is proud to be involved with this project which is expected to become of the largest development proposals in Victoria’s history.

With the complex being constructed in five stages, the completion of Towers 2 and 3 will showcase a small portion of the planned landmark.

“These towers will give Melbourne just a hint of what’s to come after the project’s completion,” Mr Liu said.

Stage one of the project commenced construction in November 2017, with the two towers due to be completed in February next year.

“We were given a very ambitious timeline; only four days to complete a level,” Mr Liu said.

“But with our 11 years of local presence and access to global expertise, we have no concerns when it comes to meeting this timeline.”

Consisting of six towers across a 20,000m2 site, Melbourne Square will be another one of Yuanda’s multi-use building complexes, with individual residential, hotel and commercial towers.

“Towers 1 to 4 will be residential buildings, and 5 and 6 will be a hotel and an office,” Mr Liu said.

The façade has been installed on the 226m Towers 2 and 3 up to level 19 and level 20 respectfully.

The entire precinct is expected to be complete in 2027.
